Makoy Churna is a classical Ayurvedic formulation prepared from the dried plant of Makoy (Solanum nigrum), also known as Kakamachi in Sanskrit. As described in Bhavaprakasha Nighantu, Makoy is renowned for its hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory, and detoxifying properties. It balances the Pitta and Kapha doshas, purifies the blood, and supports healthy liver and digestive function.

This churna helps manage common liver-related issues like jaundice, fatty liver, and sluggish digestion. It also provides relief in skin disorders, urinary problems, and fever associated with liver imbalance. Its cooling and mildly bitter nature makes it a potent detox herb in traditional Ayurvedic formulations.
